Webinar: Oral Medication Adherence in a Clinical Trial

  • 12/19/2018
  • 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Webinar

Since 2005 the use of oral agents in clinical trials has increased and exponential growth is expected. In clinical trials with oral agents, participants may not be adhering to self-administration of study medications. Approximately 50 % of nurses observe non-adherence to oral medication regimens. The CRN is positioned to educate research participants, care givers, and study team members on the importance of oral medication adherence. This session will highlight the importance of oral medication adherence in clinical trials and identify potential barriers to adherence and tips to improve adherence to oral medications in clinical trials.
